Who do i work with?
My practice is centered around supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, including those who have been historically underrepresented or underserved in mental health care. Clients who grew up in dysfunctional families, who had parents with mental health issues, who experienced the death of a parent, who have been scapegoated, gaslighted and had to go through neglect, abandonment and painful childhood experiences and are now wanting to shift from survival into a more empowered state of living in peace, with healthy boundaires, knowing their worth and allowing joy and ease into their life.
Who do i not
work with?
If you are in a crisis or in an emergency i can not provide the right care for your needs. I simply am not trained for crisis and emergency management and often a care team that works together to stabilize a situation is needed. IFS is also not recommended during a crisis. Please contact your local emergency support.

My Approach
To honor the complexity of life, our experiences from the past, our present and our wishes for our future it requires holistic approaches to empower us on our lifes journey. Drawing from the innovative Internal Family Systems model, we recognize that each individual is comprised of a multitude of internal parts, each with its own unique story and needs. The trauma-informed approach to IFS therapy focuses on gently guiding clients through the process of connecting with and understanding internal parts, fostering self-compassion, and promoting wholeness from within.
As a trauma-informed practitioner, I prioritize creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, validated, and respected. I understand that trauma can manifest in various ways and that healing is a deeply personal journey. By integrating trauma-informed principles into the IFS model, we empower clients to explore their inner landscapes at their own pace, without judgment or pressure.

What Does Trauma Informed Mean?
Being Trauma Informed means that i will assume that everybody has been through some kind of Trauma in their lifetime. While there are many different kind of traumas and many different ways in how we learn to adapt to it and its concequences, it has certainly been very helpful to create safe spaces in which we can find healing.
Having unresolved trauma can lead to many challenges in life and make this experience feel heavy, uncontrollable or simply unbearable. We can feel overwhelming emotions, shame or that our experience of a situation doesnt actually match the what is happeing. Little things cause emotions that we might remember from childhood or we experience flashbacks. Sometimes the only way to deal with this is to numb ourselves by binging TV Series or whatever helps us get away from the stress. Often the stress is happening in the nervous system which is reacting to things that it has marked as dangerous due to traumatic experiences. And just to protect us it will start its uncontrollable mechanisms to get us ready to fight or flight the situations. This comes with a wide range of emotions, sometimes without us understanding why all of this is happening.
Its is and has always been a natural process. And however our being is shaped by the experiences we have, it is also possible to reshape and change the way we live our life.
Trauma can be the underlying cause for a wide range of symptoms. From Depression to Anxiety to physical symptoms such as inflamatory and chronic illnesses. Especially somatic approaches can bring great healing to this.
In Trauma Informed approaches i am not leading, pushing, managing or directing anyone. The leader will always be the person on the journey of self healing.
