Work with me
Growth and inner harmony begin with understanding. As a trauma-informed Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapist, I support individuals on their journey toward self-compassion and wholeness. With patience, empathy, and a deep understanding of trauma’s impact, I provide a safe and nurturing space for exploration and transformation.
My Approach to IFS Therapy
Life is complex. Our past experiences, present realities, and future aspirations all shape who we are. A holistic approach empowers us on this journey. The Internal Family Systems model recognizes that each person consists of many internal parts, each with a unique story and need. This trauma-informed approach gently guides clients in connecting with and understanding these parts, fostering self-compassion and promoting inner wholeness.
As a trauma-informed practitioner, I prioritize creating a safe and supportive environment. Here, clients feel heard, validated, and respected. Trauma manifests in different ways, and healing is a deeply personal process. By integrating trauma-informed principles with IFS, I empower clients to explore their inner world at their own pace—free from judgment or pressure.

What Does Trauma Informed Mean?
Being trauma-informed means recognizing that everyone has likely experienced some form of trauma. Trauma comes in many forms, and people adapt to it in different ways. Creating safe spaces for healing is essential.
Unresolved trauma can make life feel overwhelming, uncontrollable, or unbearable. It can trigger intense emotions, feelings of shame, or reactions that don’t match the present situation. Small events may evoke emotions from childhood or cause flashbacks. To cope, some people numb themselves with distractions like binge-watching TV. Often, the nervous system reacts to past trauma, preparing us for fight or flight—even when no real danger exists. This response brings a flood of emotions, sometimes without an obvious cause.
These reactions are natural. While our experiences shape us, we also have the power to reshape how we live. Trauma can underlie many challenges, from depression and anxiety to chronic illnesses. Somatic approaches can bring significant healing.
In trauma-informed therapy, I do not lead, push, or direct anyone. The person on the healing journey is always the leader of their own process.

Who do i work with?
My practice is centered around supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, including those who have been historically underrepresented or underserved in mental health care. Clients who grew up in dysfunctional families, who had parents with mental health issues, who experienced the death of a parent, who have been scapegoated, gaslighted and had to go through neglect, abandonment and painful childhood experiences and are now wanting to shift from survival into a more empowered state of living in peace, with healthy boundaires, knowing their worth and allowing joy and ease into their life.
Who do i not
work with?
If you are in a crisis or in an emergency i can not provide the right care for your needs. I simply am not trained for crisis and emergency management and often a care team that works together to stabilize a situation is needed. IFS is also not recommended during a crisis. Please contact your local emergency support.
How to Choose Between Therapy and Counseling?
- If you struggle with emotional distress that significantly impacts your daily life, therapy is the right choice.
 - If you want guidance and support in personal growth, relationships, or life decisions, counseling may be better suited.
 - If you’re unsure, the intro call can help determine the best approach for you.

Counseling
1. 30-minute Intro Call
A chance to explore and reflect your goals, challenges, and how counseling can support you.
2. Paperwork & Intake
We’ll complete a contract, data consent, and intake form to set a clear framework for our work together.
3. First Session
We’ll reflect on your intake responses and clarify what you’d like to gain from counseling. Together, we’ll set meaningful goals tailored to your needs.
4. Early Sessions
We’ll explore patterns, thoughts, and emotions that influence your life. Through guided self-reflection, psychoeducation, and practical tools, you’ll gain insight and new strategies to support your personal growth.
5. Ongoing Counseling
As you continue, we’ll refine your coping strategies, challenge limiting beliefs, and reinforce positive changes. Counseling is goal-oriented and typically shorter-term than therapy, but the pace depends on your needs.
Requirements & Differences:
- Focuses on personal development, self-reflection, and life challenges rather than mental illness.
 - Helps with relationship issues, stress management, decision-making, and personal growth but does not treat clinical conditions.
 - Does not require a formal diagnosis and is suitable for those seeking self-improvement rather than medical intervention.
 - More solution-focused and short-term, whereas therapy may be more in-depth and long-term.
 - Privately paid and subject to VAT, which may result in higher rates.
 - May be tax-deductible as personal education.

Psychotherapy
1. 30-minute Intro
Let’s explore your concerns, expectations, and how therapy can support you.
2. Paperwork & Intake
We’ll complete a contract, data consent, and intake form to ensure a structured and safe process.
3. First Session
Together, we’ll review your intake responses, discuss your concerns, and co-create a flexible treatment plan tailored to your needs.
4. Early Sessions
We’ll establish a supportive therapeutic relationship, introduce psychoeducation, and start exploring your internal world. You’ll begin to connect with different parts of yourself, learning how they influence your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
5. Ongoing Therapy
As we deepen the work, we’ll explore protective strategies, belief patterns, and coping mechanisms. Over time, you’ll develop greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and tools to navigate life’s challenges. Therapy continues for as long as it serves your growth and healing.
Requirements & Differences:
- Addresses mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, or other clinical conditions.
 - Focuses on healing, symptom reduction, and long-term change.
 - Regulated profession in Germany: Only licensed practitioners can offer psychotherapy.
 - Can involve deeper emotional processing, including past trauma, subconscious patterns, and unresolved conflicts.
 - Privately paid, with no VAT (as part of the healing profession).
 - Health insurance rarely covers costs, though some private providers may reimburse partially. It’s always worth checking.
